The School
Nowakowski's ATA Family Martial Arts was founded in 2002 by Ryan and Courtney Nowakowski. Both Mr. and Mrs. Nowakowski began their training in 1993 and received their instructor certification with the American Takewondo Association five years later. After being married in September of 2000, the Nowakowski's set a goal to open an academy of their own in the Austin area. In 2002 not only did they realize the dream of establishing their first school, they also tested and were successfully promoted in 4th degree black belt. Currently their goals include testing for 5th Degree Black Belt in June 2009 and introducing more of the community to their new location.
